Inside Sales Account Executive


Association Media Group, LLC specializes in providing advertising technology and sales services to associations. Our priority is representing our associations partners with integrity and providing businesses with advertising solutions that generate real ROI.

You will be assigned a portfolio of several of our association partners for which you will be responsible for generating advertising sales based on an assigned quota. You will have existing leads and sales renewals to work. You will also be responsible for sourcing new leads and generating new business.

You will be provided with training and best practices, but this is a job for those with an entrepreneurial spirit and a “can-do” attitude. You will have autonomy to meet your goals and support when you have questions or hit a road block.

The right candidate should understand consultative selling techniques, exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, be goal-driven (money driven), as well as a solution-oriented thinker, and a team player. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • An undergraduate degree

  • Strong written & oral communication skills

  • Knowledge of or other CRMs as well as Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and Exchange).

  • Familiarity with advertising, and particularly digital advertising is helpful, but not required.  

Key responsibilities:
  • Maintain existing and build new advertising relationships on behalf of assigned association partners.

  • Effectively manage pipeline in to achieve quota each month as well as meet budget goals for association clients.

  • Participate in conversations and calls with association clients. Assist in managing these relationships.

  • Help ensure advertising purchases are fulfilled and invoices are collected.

  • Hit your outreach goals. Yes, there are call goals, especially before you demonstrate the ability to hit quota regularly.

What’s in it for you?

Aside from the thrill of victory and the rush of selling advertising, you will be provided a base salary and commission is uncapped and paid monthly. Your annual compensation should be about $44k by achieving quota. Realistic total 1st year compensation ranges from $40k to $56k.
